We are now offering MOST piercings.

We are not currently offering: Lower genitalia, implants or certain surface piercings.

Please feel free to call/text and verify that we are providing the piercing you want before heading out.

Here at Legacy Tattoo Collective, we only use high quality titanium or real gold body jewelry sourced from professional manufacturers/wholesalers only.

We only use single use piercing needles - we DO NOT use piercing guns here.

Piercing Hours

Walk-ins for piercings are typically available during our posted hours, but availability may vary. We recommend calling ahead to check current availability or to schedule an appointment.

Appointments outside of these hours may be available with a deposit.

For groups of 3 or more, please contact us in advance so we can best accommodate your party.

Piercing for Minors

New York state requires those under 18 to have parental/guardian permission for piercings - and yes, proper documentation is required as well as their physical presence at the time of the piercing.

Sorry, no exceptions.

We will need the parent/legal guardians valid drivers license/passport in addition to a birth certificate or documentation proving they are the legal parent/guardian.

We also need a form of ID for the child. This can be a student ID or passport if they do not have a permit/license. This documentation is only required once per year. Afterwards, we can accept a photo ID for parent/guardian & child.

Ear piercing children starts at 4 or 5 years of age depending on their ability to understand and communicate effectively. The child MUST be able to say that it is their choice.

Age Restrictions for Minors **

4-5yrs + Ear lobes (needle piercing only)

9/10 + Second/Third Lobes

11+ Cartilage/Helix

13/14+ for Nostril, Naval, Advanced Ear Piercings

*for advanced ear piercings (rook, daith, conch etc.) we strongly recommend having at least one healed cartilage piercing before hand.

16+ for Septum, Lip, Eyebrow

17+ for tongues

18+ only for some Surface Piercings, Dermals Anchors or Genital piercings.

**When piercing children and teens, we consider several factors, including anatomy and maturity level. The ages listed above are general guidelines and may be adjusted at the piercer’s discretion. We reserve the right to decline any piercing if we determine it is not appropriate at the time. These decisions are made from a professional standpoint with the client’s safety and best interest in mind.

Piercing Appointment Tips

PLEASE eat and stay hydrated before coming in for a piercing.

We have a stocked coffee bar with coffee, hot chocolate and various cappuccinos if you need a little pick me up. We also have water, snacks and a candy dish if needed.

Getting your ears pierced for the first time is a right of passage and it is something we want your child to be excited for! If you are bringing your young child in for their first ear piercings, please do not tell your child that it is painless.

Everyone, regardless of age, feels piercings differently and we have no way to tell what it will feel like for them. We do our best to make it a memorable and fun experience, but please keep in mind, that your child may find it painful.

We will absolutely not allow any parent to hold their child down to force ear piercing in any way. They must be able to say that it is THEIR choice.

We need every person, adult or child, to consent to getting the piercing before proceeding. If your child has a favorite stuffy or lovie, they are more than welcome to bring them along! A favorite game on their tablet may help distract them as well.

Every body is unique, and anatomy plays an important role in proper piercing placement. We’ll work with you to find the most flattering and safe option for your individual features, helping you feel confident and comfortable no matter how different your anatomy may feel.

Please do not come in to get pierced (or tattooed) heavily under the influence. This creates an unsafe situation for you and your piercer. If we feel that its an issue, we will ask you to come back at another time.

Piercing Appointment & Deposit Policy

At Legacy Tattoo Collective, we value our clients’ time—and our own. To ensure the best possible experience for everyone, the following piercing policies are effective immediately.

Appointment Deposits

• All piercing appointments require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.

• Deposits secure your appointment time and are applied toward the total cost of your service.

• Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including no-shows, late arrivals, or last-minute cancellations.

Walk-Ins vs. Appointments

•Contacting us to check availability is always welcome, but it does not hold a time slot. Visits without a scheduled appointment are considered walk-ins.

• Appointments must be formally booked and confirmed with a deposit to be considered an appointment.

Jewelry Changes & Service Fees

Our time, expertise, and materials are not free.

• Jewelry changes, downsizing, troubleshooting, assessments, and assistance with jewelry require a small service fee.

• This fee covers professional time, sterilization, setup, and materials used during the service.

• Fees apply regardless of whether the jewelry was purchased from our studio.
