Owner & Tattoo Artist
With nearly 20 years of experience in the tattoo industry, Dan has dedicated his career to mastering his craft and continually evolving as an artist. His journey began with a pivotal moment that encouraged him to fully embrace his artistic talents and pursue tattooing as a profession. Since then, Dan has remained committed to learning new techniques and refining his skills to deliver exceptional, high-quality work to every client.
While Dan is best known for his realistic black and gray tattoos—particularly his soft edge work and detailed portraits—he is also highly skilled in a wide range of other tattoo styles, including color, illustrative, traditional, and custom designs. His versatility allows him to adapt to each client’s vision while maintaining the same level of precision, artistry, and attention to detail.
What truly sets Dan apart is his dedication to creating personalized, custom tattoos that not only reflect his clients’ ideas, but also complement their body placement and individual style.
Outside of the studio, Dan enjoys life in the Finger Lakes region of New York with his wife and children. An avid outdoorsman, he draws inspiration from nature through homesteading and exploring the outdoors—often channeling that creativity into his artwork.
Whether you’re looking for a striking black and gray portrait or a custom tattoo in another style, Dan is committed to providing an unforgettable experience and artwork you’ll be proud to wear for a lifetime.
Michelle
Body Piercer & Shop Manager
Michelle’s love for piercing dates back to her teenage years, and that early passion has grown into a career built on precision, artistry, and genuine care. She thrives on working closely with each client to achieve their desired results — from children experiencing their first ear piercing to adults embracing new forms of self-expression at any age.
As the shop manager and lead piercer at Legacy Tattoo Collective, Michelle makes it her mission to ensure that everyone who walks through the door feels safe, comfortable, and cared for — whether they’re here for a piercing, a tattoo, or simply to explore the shop’s jewelry collection. Her calm, professional approach helps clients of all ages feel confident and at ease throughout their experience.
Michelle is deeply committed to continual growth, both as a piercer and as a person. She actively stays up to date with evolving piercing techniques, industry standards, and emerging jewelry trends, allowing her to offer thoughtfully executed piercings paired with high-quality, modern jewelry. She has a particular passion for creating custom jewelry combinations, helping clients design pieces that feel personal, intentional, and truly unique.
Education is a cornerstone of Michelle’s approach. She believes informed clients heal better and feel more confident in their piercings, which is why she takes the time to provide clear aftercare guidance and answer questions thoroughly. During downsizing appointments or jewelry changes, Michelle enjoys teaching clients how to safely insert and remove their jewelry themselves—empowering them with knowledge they can carry long after leaving the studio.
When she’s not at the shop, Michelle can be found surrounded by her family, five dogs, and a flock of chickens — usually with a book in hand or researching the latest advancements in piercing techniques and fine jewelry. Her dedication to growth and excellence recently led her to complete the Association of Professional Piercers’ Core Essentials, Volume 4 course, reinforcing her ongoing commitment to providing the safest and most professional service possible.
Michelle’s attention to detail, genuine care for her clients, and constant pursuit of excellence make her the go-to piercer for anyone seeking a safe, comfortable, and truly exceptional experience.
